    More and more applications are moving to the web. This list has five open source web apps that can replace popular proprietary services.

    ownStaGram – Alternative to Instagram. This app lets you take pictures with many of the same features as Instagram and store them on your own server.

    Wallabag – Wallabag is similar to Instapaper and Pocket and allows you to save online articles in epub format for reading at a later time.

    FreshRSS – A self-hosted RSS reader.

    ownCloud – Dropbox like storage that can be run on your own server or from one of many companies.

    Shaarli – Self-hosted, encrypted bookmark storage.
