The second annual All Things Open (ATO) conference is right around the corner in Raleigh, NC. The first year was a major success, attracting over 800 attendees, making it one of the biggest open source conferences on the east coast. This year the conference is expanding in many directions, including adding content that targets users and a women in IT/open source discussion panel to encourage greater involvement from women. The conference focuses on being as open as possible and includes companies that don’t do much work in open source as an effort to attract more individuals and companies to the open source discussion.
