  • Heartbleed Highlights a Contradiction in the Web

    The Heartbleed bug has exposed a significant problem in the way businesses and organizations utilize open source applications. A severe lack of funding to OpenSSL has hampered the ability to produce robust code. Businesses and governments need to take more responsibility for the open source tools they use and be more proactive about improving and fixing them.
