The Tesla headquarters in Palo Alto have long featured a wall decorated with the many patents the company owns. This wall has been cleared as Tesla has released every one of their patents to be used by anyone freely. The goal with this move is to help electric cars gain the momentum needed to replace gasoline-powered cars.
