Microsoft has announced they will be releasing the code for “Project Orleans” which is used to power the basis of the Halo 4 services and architecture. The company has previously stated they think this application would be well suited to handle input from a large number and variety of Internet sensors, running social networks, or other applications with complex and dynamic relationships. The plan is to make the code available on GitHub in early 2015
