  • Google’s Container Tool Attracts Support From Microsoft, IBM, and Others

    Google recently revealed Kubernetes, an open source Docker orchestration tool designed to scale containerization. Google claims to run over 2 billion containers a week and created Kubernetes as a way to manage multiple pods of containers on a single server, or across a cluster. Google views containers as a disruptive technology and has brought IBM, Microsoft, Red Hat, and a few other major businesses to their efforts to make large-scale container use efficient.
