Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications are known to have lackluster user interfaces, especially open source ERP’s. ERPNext is no exception to this, and the community behind it recently decided to focus on improving the design of the software. The community lacked talented designers, so they went out and hired a design team to come up with a new user interface. They worked with the company Studio March over the course of three weeks and came away with an entirely new design for the software. The ERPNext community implemented the new design and have been left with a much easier application to use.
