Akamai Technologies is alerting businesses to high-risk vulnerabilities in Iptables and IptabLex. These vulnerabilities allow attackers to gain remote access to the servers and install malicious code on the server, most often the code is designed to join the server to a botnet. These attacks have been originating primarily from Russia and China.
