Arduino has announced the upcoming release of Materia 101, a new 3D printer that is the result of a partnership between Arduino and Sharebot. Many people in the hobbyist 3D printing community have been using Arduino devices to power 3D printers for a while; this printer is powered by the Arduino Mega 2560.
