The new release of OpenStack, named Juno, will come out on October 16th and features a wealth of new features in many of the core components.
Nova will include Network Function Virtualization, and live upgrades.
Celiometer, the metering/measuring component of OpenStack, will have improvements to speed. Additionally, the community is moving towards a more collaborative decision making process and will be working to improve how decisions are made.
Heat, OpenStack’s orchestration component, will include deployment rollback functionality and the ability to create resources without being an admin.
Glance, Marconi, Keystone, Horizon, and TripleO will also include updates and new features.
