Brian Steves, CTO of Red Hat since 2001, has unexpectedly quit his job. Some Red Hat employees speculate this move is related to disagreements between Stevens and Paul Cormier, Predsident of Products and Technologies. Stevens has been a major evangelist for OpenStack and has been on the boards of the IEEE Computer Society and the OpenStack Foundation.
